Some repairs just aren’t worth doing unless they’re done the right way. Things like sealing gutters with mastic, pointing over old mortar, or reusing worn lead might look like a quick fix, but they don’t last and usually cause bigger problems later.

Roof Valley Repairs
The most common repair is replacing old cement valleys with a GRP valley.
Cement valleys tend to crack and fail over time, especially with movement and weather. A GRP valley is a more reliable option, designed to handle water properly and last.
We strip it back, prepare it properly, and install it as it should be, so it does the job long term, not just for now.
Dry Ridge Systems
Dry ridge is a modern way of securing ridge tiles without relying on mortar.
Instead of bedding ridges in cement, a dry system uses mechanical fixings that allow for movement and proper ventilation, which helps prevent cracking and failure over time.
It’s a longer-lasting option that doesn’t suffer from the same issues as traditional mortar ridges.
Roof Vegetation & Clearance
Moss, plants and debris build up over time, especially around chimneys, valleys and gutters.
If it’s left, it holds moisture and blocks water flow, which is where problems start. Water can back up, get under tiles, and lead to leaks that could have been avoided.

Fascia Repairs
Fascias take a lot of wear over time, especially with weather and water constantly running through the roofline.
